When I logged in today it asked me if I wanted to update...I said yes (ofc). Now its showing the new 1.8 log window and I cant log into the server. It says "outdated server" and shows the server as "communication error". So does this mean that the server is down and you are updating it? I didnt see anything in news about what the latest is on the server with this new update (unless i missed it somewhere).
Anyway, would like to know whats up. Thanks, Kia |

It'll probably take a few days for the server to be fully updated as this is a rather huge update. For the time being you should use the old version to go onto the server.
you can dl the older version here, dl it to either your "\Users\<accname>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin"(vista) or "C:\Documents and Settings\<accname>\Application Data\.minecraft\bin"(xp.) _________________ /!\ New MC players please read these 2 threads: Rules and Starter Guide. /!\   [ Steam group for my SC game servers. - Cartman-2000's image host ] |
