I just went on sven today, and I saw something I've never seen before. I got two large readings on either corner of my screen, with one corner reading my FPS and the other corner telling the time. This isn't net_graph either, and it grinds my gears to have two large distractions on my screen, as I like to have my HUD uncluttered. Anybody know what's happening? Or is it just something really simple that I was too stupid to miss? :/

The most obvious thing to do would be to take a look at your background applications.
Any screen recording software, video game IM programs, or stuff that provides an overlay in 3d rendering programs?
If this is a Steam update I wouldn't know about it as I haven't logged onto Steam today.

I use nothing at all with my games, other than Xfire. Most of my stuff is closed when I play games like sc anyways, as it would cut-off my game and interfere.

It's xfire, you can change the size of them or disable them. Also you should attache the image to the forum if it's like over 1024x768, so you don't have to scroll side to side to see the page. you can make them quite small. Attachment:

Lately, my Xfire has been freezing up whenever I open it.
Not ingame, but when I open it on my desktop it takes 30 seconds to even click on somebody's name.
