Lucky! But why did you choose that one? Just out of curiosity.

BTW Can you post the complete specs.

No I mean like, when your buying it, you can pick different parts for it. So, specifically, which parts did you pick?

Just tell me your price range and I'll get you a better deal. Gateway has gown down the drain lately. In the 90's, they were good, but now they suck.

dude
don't buy computers
build one
its not that hard
and its like $500 less
aswell you can literally choose every componant you put in your computer
and you don't have to get vista
you can still buy copies of windows xp
check tigerdirect.com
for parts and xp
another good site is newegg.com
ebay might also be usefull
but use it at your own risk

Some people don't have enough knowledge about computer hardware to put one together.

Tell me your budget, Gateway isn't the first place you should be looking at for gaming computers, and I could probably find you a better deal at Dell, HP, Falcon, or Alienware.

For a person with no computer knowledge, a pre-built PC would be the best choice.

Dells don't suck, else they wouldn't be a huge company like they are now. Maybe they're not for games, but they focus more on business solutions anyway.

Dell computers are pretty bad for linux. It's the bios they use for there computers that linux doesn't like very well.
