Ive recently upgraded to vista and i wanted to get back to sven but now when im playing it for like 3 minutes its crashes doesnt happen to any other games. can anyone help?

Try running steam.exe as administrator *Right click on steam.exe or a shortcut, and select "Run as administrator", see if that works.

there's not much that can be done, I get pretty bad crashing to, you could try different sets of drivers for your gfx and sound cards.

Have you tried changing your video render mode. I had issues like that before and all I had to do was change it to D3D. The only draw back is that water splashes are all black but at least no more crashes.

Dang that black water is annoying but it totally beats crashing  thanks again P.S. Is there any possible solution on fixing the black water

I doubt it. The video mode states we are not even suppose to be useing what we are useing. But this was the only way I could get it to work with the xp system that cartman uses. If you do find a fix though let me know. That black water can really get in the way.
