I got a new computer as the old one was on it's last leg and 5 years old. Still installing all the stuff on it but so far Windows 7 seems odd. |

Got any specs on it? I recently got a new gaming comp back in march my self(built my own.), the greatest things I don't like about windows 7 so far is that that it has poor/non-existent hardware sound support for older games(the removal of dsound3d from directx 10 and up.) and that windows 7 tends to be somewhat leaky on ram usage, quite a bit more so then windows xp. |

A pretty much mid-range comp. I'd consider mine a high end one(completely kicks the crap out of my 6 year old one lol.) Processor: Intel Core i7 2600k @ 3.4ghz (second gen i7, sandy bridge core.) Memory: 8GB DDR3 1600 (4GBx2 dual channel, 9-9-9-24) Hard Drive: 500GB 7200 rpm sata300 hitachi and 1TB 7200rpm sata300 samsung Video Card: Asus Nvidia gtx580 Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit w/ sp1 Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth p67 Computer Case: Antec 1200v3(needed for that mammoth gfx card...)
