lol, I guess it's not all that surprising HL is ahead in that, those old 2d Mario games(Super Mario World for the SNES) annoyed the hell out of me trying to get through them. lol, watch the super mario video in this post, that's comparable to the aggravation I can feel on some of the levels in the Mario games. http://sc.cartman-2000.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=15#p15

I've never really been very fond of playing those old 2d games back when I had the SNES in the 90's.

agreed, plus gordon kicks ass and mario is kinda like JUMP on their head, now there dead but gordon just shoots em from a distance
