well that time has come yet again my computer's security has been compromised and hehehe, i'm to lazy to fix it the with anti-virus progs plus i'm running on a 130 day trail of windows xp which is gonna die soon SO i have to reinstall windows ugh great oh well any way i have a Linux install on here that i need to get rid of cause i cant use it with my wireless card and the only way to remove linux is to reformat but i've done this before so i know what to do just hope my computer doesn't over heat and crash on me like it has been for the past like month and its REALLY PISSING ME OFF!!! I'M PLAYING AN OLD GAME THAT NEEDS A PENTIUM 166 MGHZ PROCESSOR AND IT MANAGES TO CRASH MY COMPUTER!!!! then again i did have steam and windows media player, but it shouldn't have overheated it |

Have you used an air duster to get the dust out of your comp sometime recently? A computer shouldn't overheat if you have good HSF on your cpu and gfx card and keep your case relatively dust free. |

how often do you clean your computer, opening up and dusting, or doing simple system tool cleanups.. Cause there are a lot of things that could contribute to your tower overheating. |

Thats what my bro's comp used to do... overheat. They just used a fan to keep it cool. |

Well I wouldn't be that surprised that a laptop would overheat, they generally have only one fan in them(maybe 2 if it has one of the nvidia or ati integrated gfx.). My laptop can get pretty hot, if I'm running something on it that's using %100 of the cpu. |
