Well my Vista keeps sucking and I have another system crash... Anyways I have to uninstall Steam again... If you are wondering how I am posting this now is because I'm using the Asus OS thats in the motherboard. So anyways I'll be out for a while getting all my shit back together and I'll probably send this to Best Buy for repairs.

Actually its not vista. Its my hard drive. I cant even restore. I get this blue screen with hardware failure on it. I figured, my computer fell off my desk and must of rumbled my hard drive and got scratches on it. It made funny noises for a bit, worked for a few seconds then it crashed. |

No I have Vista too. It's just I was telling you to go with HP or some more recognized manufacturer. Frankly, I don't know anybody who owns an Asus laptop. Anyway, how high was the fall, do you think? If its just the hard drive you may be able to replace it. |

The fall was pretty bad, the side of my computer has dented out ward and its a crack now. Also HP is pretty bad. My brother's HP crapped out 4 times already and we now are able to get a new computer of equal price value. |

Ah the diagnosis is that my computer has suffered hard drive failure. I wont be getting it back for a while though since its gonna take about 3 weeks.

That's quite a long time for just a hd, If I were to replace the one in my laptop it would only take a day or 2 to set everything back up again on it. |

Yeah... they must have spotted some other hardware errors or are just trying to repair the chassis, I guess. |

well if the case was cracked that might slow it down, also a fall could screw up other things like the ram or monitor. |

Yeah, but even though if only the Hard drive was messed up the said it would still take up to 3 to 4 weeks to get it back so I told them they might as well fix the crack too, along with anything else that could have gone wrong. |
