I've been trying to replace the sounds of a zombie with the sounds of a scientist, but for some reason the map isn't finding the file.
I've tried the path of "SvenCoop/sound/custom_sounds/sci_zombie.txt", but I don't think it works like that. What do I have to do? I can't figure it out

well the .txt file i think needs to be the same name as the monster. Also, have you looked at some maps that have custom monster sounds?

there should be a sound replacement field in the monstermaker/squadmaker and other monster entities the path entering in the name of the txt file it self will look for it in sound/map_name/replacementfilename.txt

"SvenCoop/sound/custom_sounds/sci_zombie.txt", change that to /custom_sounds/sci_zombie.txt

I've figured it out! In the Sound Replacement path, put the name of the file only. The file has to be in a folder that has the name of the map, and that folder has to be inside of the sound folder.
Thanks for all of your help anyway, especially yours Cartman, they clued me in on my discovery.

That's basically what I said in my previous post.
