Would anyone know how to make a cfg file for a map using vista?

notepad, it's just a file with a list of commands for the map. You can look in other cfg files for cmds to use.

I know how to make cfgs but I cant turn the notepad into a cfg with vista. On my old one I knew how ot because I would jsut rename the file format but with vista they dont show the file format

and use word pad or like word or something

also i don't know if you can do this in vista
but go to control panel
folder settings
and show extensions

works in vista.

You can also just copy an existing config and edit that... I Find it a zillion times easier.
